Job Summary

We're looking for a driven and personable Sales Specialist to help us grow our genomic services business. If you have experience in both sales and the genomics field, know how to build relationships, and are excited about the opportunity to help us expand into new markets, we want to hear from you In this role, you'll be using your sales skills to present our innovative genomic solutions, build strong customer connections, and drive growth. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Create and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed your goals, helping us expand our customer base in the genomics field.
  • Building Relationships: Work with key people in healthcare, academic, and research sectors to create lasting relationships and help them see the value in our genomic services.
  • Lead Generation & Outreach: Use your experience in both sales and genomics to connect with potential customers, whether that's through cold calls, warm outreach, or creative new strategies.
  • Sales Process: Help guide customers through the entire sales process—from preparing proposals, negotiating deals, to closing sales and making sure everything runs smoothly from quote to delivery.
  • Managing Pipeline & Forecasts: Keep track of your sales opportunities and goals, updating forecasts and providing regular updates on progress.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and business teams to align on campaigns and initiatives that support sales growth and business objectives.
  • Stay Informed: Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in genomics so you can confidently talk about our offerings and their impact with customers.
  • Other Support: Pitch in with other tasks or projects as needed to help our team succeed.

Desired Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or Biomedical engineering (Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or similar discipline). Technical understanding of next generation sequencing is preferred.
  • 2-3 years sales experience with a proven ability to hit goals and drive results. Experience in genomics or life sciences is key to success.
  • Some familiarity with genomic services—whether it's genomics technology, research applications, or diagnostics
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills—someone who builds connections and enjoys working with others to make deals happen.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a passion for both achieving revenue goals and cutting-edge genomic solutions.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team to meet objectives.

This role is based in Singapore.
