Environmental Safety and Health Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Environmental Safety and Health (ESH) professional to join our team as an ESH Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, implementing and maintaining ESH programs, policies, and procedures, and promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement ESH strategies and initiatives to minimize environmental impact, prevent accidents, and promote a culture of safety and health awareness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and implementation of ESH policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on ESH best practices and regulations.
  • Monitor and report ESH performance metrics and participate in audits and inspections to ensure compliance.
  • Manage budgets and expenditures related to ESH and approve the purchase of consumables and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Degree in ESH, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Level C WSH competency certification.
  • Certified confine space assessor/WAH Assessor.
  • Biz Safe level 2 certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience with at least 3 years in a similar capacity.
  • Vendor Management and ISO Management skills.
  • Experience liaising with government authorities.
  • Intermediate MS Office skills.
