Job Description: As a Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough risk assessments and due diligence on clients to ensure compliance with anti-money laundering regulations. You will work closely with Relationship Managers to advise on KYC requirements and ensure complete and accurate documentation. Your primary goal will be to mitigate risks associated with client onboardings and maintain updated profiles in internal systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive KYC due diligence, reviewing and verifying client documentation, including identification, address proof, corporate records, and source of wealth.
  • Perform background checks using internal systems and external databases, identifying potential risks and escalating them to the relevant teams.
  • Advise front office teams on KYC requirements to ensure complete and accurate documentation and facilitate timely client onboarding.

Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. 3-6 years of experience in KYC/AML, preferably in private banking or wealth management. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, along with excellent time management and organizational abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with banking platforms and screening tools are desirable.
