Job Overview

The solar industry is rapidly growing, and companies are seeking skilled professionals to join their teams. As a Solar O&M Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of photovoltaic systems.

You will assist engineers with maintenance tasks, including routine maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting faults, and carrying out necessary repairs. Additionally, you will oversee contractors when engaged for maintenance work, ensuring that safety and quality standards are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the company's installed PV systems and those covered under O&M contracts.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in PV systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Carry out repair activities on PV systems efficiently and safely.
  • Record faults, alarms, and maintenance actions in the company's internal tracking system.
  • Oversee maintenance work when contractors are engaged, ensuring that safety and quality are adhered to.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in engineering, preferably in electrical engineering.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the electrical or related industry is preferred.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing tasks, including working at heights.
