Job Title: Solar System Maintenance Specialist
About the Role
Energetix is a leading specialist in solar PV system integrators. We design, engineer, install and maintain solar photovoltaic systems for commercial and industrial building owners, solar power investors and utility companies.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support in the operation and maintenance of all PV systems in our portfolio.
- Assist engineers with maintenance tasks, including routine maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting faults, and carrying out necessary repairs.
- Oversee contractors when engaged for maintenance work, ensuring safety and quality standards are adhered to.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Maintaining company-installed PV systems and those covered under O&M contracts.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues in PV systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Carrying out repair activities on PV systems efficiently and safely.
- Recording faults, alarms, and maintenance actions in the company's internal tracking system.
- Ensuring adherence to the organization's ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 policies and guidelines.
Requirements
- Possess a Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in engineering, preferably in electrical engineering.
- At least one year of experience in the electrical or related industry is preferred.
- Physically fit and capable of performing tasks, including working at heights.
