About Our Role

As a key member of our team, the Solar Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our solar photovoltaic systems.

  • Support engineers in maintaining installed PV systems and those covered under O&M contracts.
  • Utilize technical expertise to diagnose and troubleshoot issues in PV systems, taking prompt corrective action to minimize downtime.
  • Carry out repair activities on PV systems efficiently and safely, adhering to industry standards and guidelines.
  • Record faults, alarms, and maintenance actions in our internal tracking system for seamless monitoring and analysis.
  • Supervise maintenance work when contractors are engaged, prioritizing safety and quality at all times.
  • Ensure adherence to our organization's policies and guidelines, including ISO9001 and ISO45001 standards.

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • A Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in engineering, preferably in electrical engineering.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the electrical or related industry is preferred.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks that may involve working at heights.
  • Fresh graduates with a strong interest in renewable energy are encouraged to apply.
