**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Material and Component selection as per local code requirements.
- Major components selections like, PV Module, Structure, AC Cables, DC cable, ACDB boxes, etc..
- Responsible for electrical design package (module to AC output, wiring, modelling, electronic protection circuits, wiring, j-boxes, maximum voltage, site performance etc. ) using modelling software and analyzing.
- Document submission to authorities (Power Grid, Client, Consultant, Etc...)
- Provide safe, timely and high quality PV module to systems designs utilizing state of the art modelling and design skills.
- Interface with local officials and utility engineers to design the best system configuration.
- Maintain awareness of new product technology and communicate pertinent developments to colleagues.
- Lead in case of major break down, Supervises and instructs team in the maintenance, trouble shooting of automation systems.

**Requirements**:

- A Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering degree. Advanced degree desired.
- A minimum of 03 years’ experience performing design of solar PV systems and products.
- Experienced with solar PV system design, inverters, wiring, grounding, utilities interface and performance monitoring. Experienced with Semiconductor technology desired.
- Must have field knowledge about roof top, Ground mount PV Systems.
- Should have basic knowledge in RMU / Solar remote Monitoring systems.
- Technically proficient in the field of photovoltaic conversion, direct current circuits and protection designs with a working knowledge of solar PV system modelling.
- Familiar with international Standards for solar PV systems, and other relevant standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills with internal and external customers.
- Solid general knowledge of computer technology and be proficient with 2D and 3D modelling software such as PVSyst, Helioscope, Sketch Up and AutoCAD.
- Have a passion for renewable energy and want to ensure a future for the environment. Overseas trips may be required for technical support, training and internal/external meetings.
