Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer – Solar PV System Designer


A pioneering renewable energy organization seeks a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to spearhead the development, integration, and deployment of cutting-edge solar PV systems.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience in solar PV, battery energy storage (BESS), and grid connection, with expertise in power electronics and hybrid solar systems.

Responsibilities include leading the engineering, design, and technical integration of solar PV systems with BESS, conducting feasibility studies and site assessments, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.

Mentor junior engineers, stay abreast of emerging trends in renewable energy, and foster knowledge sharing within the team.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive electrical, mechanical, and system designs for solar PV systems with battery energy storage (BESS).
  • Conduct thorough feasibility studies, site assessments, and system sizing for hybrid PV + BESS projects.
  • Create detailed documentation outlining electrical, mechanical, and system design specifications.
  • Perform performance modeling, simulation, and optimization of hybrid energy systems.
  • E nsure adherence to local regulations, industry standards, and grid connection requirements.
  • Provide technical support for project troubleshooting, commissioning, and operations.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Stay updated on renewable energy trends, technology advancements, and regional market regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or related field.
  • Experience in solar PV and battery energy storage (BESS) with proven track record.
  • Expertise in PV inverters, BESS, and hybrid system design.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of grid connection, power electronics, and hybrid solar systems.
