Job Description:

  • Clinical Work and Supervision:
    • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for clients with complex needs.
    • Provide expert supervision to physiotherapists, ensuring adherence to professional standards and best practices.
    • Oversee the implementation of evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality, safe, and effective care.
    • Manage and optimize the use of clinical resources to maximize impact and reach.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to the team to enhance their skills and professional development.
  • Uplift Professional Practice:
    • Develop and implement innovative clinical programs and interventions to meet the diverse needs of persons with disabilities.
    • Design and review clinical competency frameworks, guidelines, policies, and procedures to support high-quality service delivery.
  • Service Development & Improvement:
    • Collaborate with department heads and clinical leads to develop and implement strategic plans for clinical service delivery.
    • Contribute to the design and evaluation of new programs and services.
    • Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Monitor and analyze clinical outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
    • Participate in quality assurance activities and audits.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Recognized degree or master's degree in physiotherapy.
  • Registration with Allied Health Professional Services.
  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience working as a physiotherapist.
  • Strong clinical expertise and leadership skills.
