Franchise Development Manager

We are seeking a skilled Franchise Development Manager to lead our efforts in expanding into new markets.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Diligent identification and onboarding of high-potential franchisees who align with our brand ethos.
  • Conducting thorough due diligence to ensure partner suitability and long-term success.
  • Maintaining a robust pipeline of potential partners and fostering strong relationships throughout the acquisition process.
  • Negotiating contracts and structuring deals that benefit both parties.
  • Managing Intellectual Properties of the brand globally, developing strategies for trademark, licensing, and copyrights application.

Market Expansion & Localization:

  • Maintaining continual communication and positive working relationship with franchise markets.
  • Leading end-to-end market entry strategies, from initial research to execution, ensuring seamless localization of menus, branding, and operations.
  • Collaborating with culinary and operations teams to adapt offerings to local tastes, preferences, and regulatory requirements.
  • Cross-functional team collaboration to create tailored marketing campaigns resonating with regional audiences.

Development & Implementation of Franchise SOPs:

  • Conducting regular audits and training sessions to ensure consistent adherence to our standards.
  • Providing ongoing support to franchisees to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining a resource of training aids and marketing materials for franchisees.

Data Analysis:

  • Working closely with finance to ensure timely billings and collections from franchise markets.
  • Updating and maintaining existing franchisee data and databases.
  • Reporting sales data and analyzing P&L, product mix, and compliance.
  • Developing a franchise model, structure, fees, and compliance according to industry trends and updates.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Brand Marketing:

  • Collaborating with internal teams and franchisees to facilitate successful franchise rollouts.
  • Developing go-to-market strategies amplifying brand visibility and establishing a strong presence in new regions.
  • Serving as the primary liaison between franchisees, corporate leadership, and other key stakeholders.

Strategic Alignment:

  • Partnering with business leaders to align franchise initiatives with our broader growth objectives and business models.
  • Delivering regular performance updates, market insights, and actionable recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Supporting senior management on department's annual store expansion KPI and budget.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, international business, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in franchise development, F&B, retail, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated success in launching franchises or expanding operations into new markets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities, interpreting market data and tailoring strategies to local contexts.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for growing local F&B brands on the global stage.
  • Detail-oriented yet strategic, balancing day-to-day execution with long-term vision.
  • A collaborative team player thriving in cross-functional settings.
