Job Title: Enterprise API Gateway Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise API Gateway Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for the configuration and management of our enterprise Axway API gateway system.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage day-to-day operations of the enterprise Axway API gateway system.
  • Monitor API Gateway performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Problem isolate and resolve with expectation that continuous improvement and enhancements are implemented.
  • Work with external parties to integrate their web services with the gateway.
  • Configure and code policies via Axway API Gateway Policy Studio.
  • Deploy and upgrade the Axway API Gateway as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience in configuring and managing Axway API Gateway or relevant API Gateways.
  • Knowledge in NoSQL database.
  • Demonstrated experience with web service security including digital certificates (client and server), mutual-authentication, SSL, Web Services expertise in XML, XSL, WSDL, SOAP, REST, JSON, HTML, JavaScript.
  • Experience implementing and troubleshooting SSL, LDAP, SSO.
  • Experience in AWS, Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with common Unix/Linux utilities, diagnostics, and monitoring tools.
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written, for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
  • Quick learning and adaptive to new technical fields.
  • Passion for automation, standardization and best practices.

Main Goals:

  • Ensure seamless integration of web services with the API gateway.
  • Implement efficient security protocols for data exchange.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality policies for API Gateway.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives.
