Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an API Gateway Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring and managing the enterprise Axway API gateway system, monitoring its performance, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

The ideal candidate will have experience in configuring and managing Axway API Gateway or relevant API Gateways, as well as knowledge of NoSQL databases. Additionally, they should have demonstrated experience with web service security, including digital certificates, mutual authentication, SSL, and other related technologies.

The API Gateway Specialist will also be responsible for working with external parties to integrate their web services with the gateway, configuring and coding policies via Axway API Gateway Policy Studio, and deploying and upgrading the Axway API Gateway and database as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in API Gateway Management: The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in configuring and managing API Gateways, preferably Axway API Gateway.
  • NoSQL Database Knowledge: Familiarity with NoSQL databases is essential, as the candidate will need to work with Cassandra database used by Axway API Gateway.
  • Web Service Security Expertise: The candidate should have a solid understanding of web service security, including digital certificates, mutual authentication, SSL, and other related technologies.
  • AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes Experience: Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes is highly desirable, as the candidate will need to deploy and upgrade the Axway API Gateway and database using these tools.
  • Unix/Linux Utilities Knowledge: Familiarity with common Unix/Linux utilities, diagnostics, and monitoring tools is essential for troubleshooting and maintaining the API Gateway system.
