Job Title: Enterprise API Gateway Specialist

Roles & Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring and managing the day-to-day operations of the Axway API gateway system.

They will monitor API Gateway performance, troubleshoot issues, and isolate and resolve problems with a focus on continuous improvement and enhancements.

Additionally, they will work with external parties to integrate their web services with the gateway, configure and code policies via Axway API Gateway Policy Studio, manage the Axway API Gateway system, and configure and manage the Cassandra database used by Axway API Gateway.

Deploying and upgrading the Axway API Gateway and database as needed is also a key responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Experience in configuring and managing Axway API Gateway or relevant API Gateways.
  • Knowledge in NoSQL database.
  • Demonstrated experience with web service security, including digital certificates (client and server), mutual-authentication, SSL, Web Services expertise in XML, XSL, WSDL, SOAP, REST, JSON, HTML, JavaScript.
  • Experience implementing and troubleshooting SSL, LDAP, SSO.
  • Experience in AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with common Unix/Linux utilities, diagnostics, and monitoring tools.
  • Experience with system configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written, for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
  • Quick learning and adaptive to new technical fields.
  • Passion for automation, standardization, and best practices.
  • Knowledge in monitoring and logging technologies (Elastic Stack, Grafana) is desirable but not required.
