We are seeking a highly skilled expert to configure and manage an enterprise API gateway system.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring its performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing continuous improvements.

Responsibilities include integrating web services with the gateway, configuring and coding policies via API Gateway Policy Studio, managing the API Gateway system, and deploying and upgrading it as needed.

Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for managing the Cassandra database used by API Gateway.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in configuring and managing API Gateways or similar technologies
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases and web service security including digital certificates, mutual-authentication, SSL, and other technologies
  • Experience implementing and troubleshooting SSL, LDAP, SSO
  • Experience in AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Experience with common Unix/Linux utilities, diagnostics, and monitoring tools
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written, for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent analytical and documentation skills
  • Quick learning and adaptability to new technical fields
  • Possession of passion for automation, standardization, and best practices
