Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled API Gateway Specialist to join our team. As an API Gateway Specialist, you will be responsible for configuring and managing the enterprise Axway API gateway system, monitoring its performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing continuous improvements.

You will work with external parties to integrate their web services with the gateway, configure and code policies via Axway API Gateway Policy Studio, manage the Axway API Gateway system, and deploy and upgrade it as needed.

In addition, you will be responsible for managing the Cassandra database used by Axway API Gateway.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in configuring and managing Axway API Gateway or relevant API Gateways, knowledge of NoSQL databases, and demonstrated experience with web service security including digital certificates, mutual-authentication, SSL, and other technologies.

  • Experience implementing and troubleshooting SSL, LDAP, SSO
  • Experience in AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Experience with common Unix/Linux utilities, diagnostics, and monitoring tools
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written, for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent analytical and documentation skills
  • Quick learning and adaptability to new technical fields
  • Possession of passion for automation, standardization, and best practices
