API Gateway Solutions Specialist

Job Overview:
- Design and implement optimal API Gateway solutions using IBM API Connect v10 and DataPower, focusing on performance and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate API publishing tasks using CI/CD tools such as GitHub, streamlining the process.
- Conduct installation, patching, and upgrades of IBM API Connect v10, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
- Support API Gateway migration projects, leveraging expertise in administration.
- Monitor and troubleshoot API Gateway performance and reliability across environments, particularly AWS EKS.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and best practices, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer.
- Participate in support activities for patching, upgrades, and API releases, with flexibility.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with API Gateways, specifically IBM API Connect v10.
- Strong experience with DataPower administration, including installation and patch management.
- Proven track record in CI/CD practices and tools, focusing on automation in API publishing.
- Experience working with AWS (particularly AWS EKS) and hybrid deployment models.
- Knowledge and experience with Kubernetes and Kubectl CLI tools.
- Proficient in Linux OS, with strong troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
