Roles & Responsibilities We’re seeking a strategic, experienced leader to own procurement and category management across our global fleet. You’ll shape sourcing for newbuilds, dry dockings, marine projects , and day-to-day operational spend , driving cost efficiency, supplier performance, and alignment with technical/operational goals. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute category strategies across shipbuilding, marine equipment, and technical services. Lead end-to-end procurement for newbuilds, conversions, and dry-dock projects (plans, RFx, award, delivery). Source and negotiate framework/master agreements for fleet ops (spares, consumables, services), optimising TCO. Build and manage supplier panels; track KPIs/SLAs, run QBRs, and drive corrective actions. Partner with Technical, Operations, and Finance to align specs, budgets, and timelines to project/operational needs. Conduct market analysis/benchmarking to unlock savings, innovation, and risk-mitigation opportunities. Ensure adherence to internal policies, class/flag and maritime regulations, and risk/compliance frameworks. Champion process improvement & digitalisation (eProcurement, analytics), lifting performance and compliance. Must-Have Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Marine Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred). 5+ years in marine/fleet procurement with strong exposure to shipbuilding & fleet operations. Proven category management, supplier negotiation, and contract execution track record (RFx → award → performance). Familiarity with shipyard operations, classification societies, and maritime compliance standards. Experience operating in a global, cross-functional environment (Technical, Operations, Finance, HSSEQ).
