What the role is:

Support Officer, Media Relations

What you will be working on:

  • Supporting the media relations team by working with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop media materials.
  • Identifying and developing media opportunities that highlight WSG's programmes and initiatives.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with media contacts.
  • Overseeing daily media monitoring for WSG.
  • Attending to media queries.
  • Coordinating media support requests from divisions.
  • Assisting with media duties during events.
  • Performing any other ad-hoc requests related to media support.

What we are looking for:

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Prior experience in corporate/public communications, media, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to multi-task and provide strategic advice under tight deadlines.
  • Self-starter, proactive, able to work independently, and a good team player.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management abilities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Candidates with a good command of a Mother Tongue language are preferred.
