**Position Purpose**:
To serve as one of the key point persons for international, regional trade and key market local media for Asia Pacific, and acting as central point for media teams across region to identify cross market opportunities and provide advice on Group positions. Working closely with the Head of Media Relations and the different business lines to pitch for Regional awards, secure positive proactive coverage and position the bank favourably with various media audiences, and amplifying results on social media as a key part in raising the Bank’s profile in Asia Pacific.

**Responsibilities**

**Direct Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute the Bank’s Awards strategy, working closely with different parts of the Bank to understand their requirements and building a cohesive picture of the Bank across all areas
- Manage media enquiries from international, regional trade and key local (including local language) media. Build proactive engagement and maintain relationship with people.
- Organize media training for media spokespeople, provide guidance to media teams and stakeholders on regional media policy
- Amplify media coverage/ external speakership and thought leadership efforts on social media channels including LinkedIn, Twitter. Reviewing posts for China market/ WeChat to ensure alignment with Group stance
- Manage daily media monitoring for the Region, including crisis escalation
- Generate content ideas for Asia Pacific as part of capital market deal communication efforts
- Supporting the media/ communications efforts for Singapore based Asset Management Chief Executive Officer and Sustainability Center APAC team
- Support in the preparation of regular media coverage reports in collaboration with media team members across APAC, to be shared regionally and, as needed, globally.
- Support on issues and crisis management communications in collaboration with the Head of B&C / and Head of Media Relations and wider communications team, as appropriate.

**Contributing Responsibilities**
- Supporting the development of press materials such as press releases
- Assisting to maintain solid data bases for press contacts
- Working with the team on social media/content propositions
- Contribute to the Permanent Control framework as and when relates to media relations processes
