Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of the team ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed/delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. Accountable for the rollout of key transformation projects in the APAC region.
Accountabilities
Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
Actively manages and/or participates in analysis, requirements definition, and solution design activities; maintains an understanding of a broad range of business processes and related systems; collaborates with business stakeholders to define and document functional and technical requirements, and with technical staff to develop solution alternatives.
Participates in the Project Management process; contributes to project deliverables including vision documents, status reports, and project plans; communicates status, business impacts, and changes to team members, business partners, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
Supports testing activities as part of production support, enhancements, and projects; reviews and provides input to testing strategies and plans; reviews and provides advice for testing-related estimates; participates in complex testing efforts.
Coordinates implementation support activities; ensuring proper communication, documentation, delivery, and follow-up.
Acts as primary liaison between PMO, Project team, and Business stakeholders, ensuring successful application implementation including planning, data conversion, application configuration, process workflow analysis, enhancements, quality assurance, user documentation, training, and ongoing production support.
Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk.

Skills and experience
Proven track record of delivery of complex projects.
Extensive analytical and organizational skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment.
Experience in Finance, Banking space.
Proven Vendor Management Experience.
Ability to understand complex application data models and functional process flows.
Experience in leading teams while being hands-on.
Experience managing rollout and implementation of multi-location platforms such as Core Banking in APAC.
12+ years' experience in business/technical analysis or process re-engineering with experience leading analysis on complex business/technical initiatives.
