Human Resource Officer Job Description

The Human Resources function plays a vital role in any organization. As a Human Resource Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the full recruitment process, talent management, performance appraisal, compensation and benefits, and strategic development
  • Administering payroll functions, including claims, overtime payments, bonuses, and monthly salaries
  • Ensuring compliance with HR policies and processes
  • Managing end-to-end processes for all applicants and renewal of work passes, escalating any outstanding issues
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee data and ensuring it aligns with best HR practices and policies
  • Supporting internal and external audits, manpower reports, government surveys, and other tasks assigned by senior management

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or a related field
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in Human Resource Management
  • Prior experience in banking and finance is highly desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders across various departments
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail
