Human Resource Officer Job Description
The Human Resources function plays a vital role in any organization. As a Human Resource Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the full recruitment process, talent management, performance appraisal, compensation and benefits, and strategic development
- Administering payroll functions, including claims, overtime payments, bonuses, and monthly salaries
- Ensuring compliance with HR policies and processes
- Managing end-to-end processes for all applicants and renewal of work passes, escalating any outstanding issues
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee data and ensuring it aligns with best HR practices and policies
- Supporting internal and external audits, manpower reports, government surveys, and other tasks assigned by senior management
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or a related field
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in Human Resource Management
- Prior experience in banking and finance is highly desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders across various departments
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail
