Job Overview
As a seasoned Application Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our clients' financial software and services. Your expertise will be instrumental in minimizing the impact of incidents and preventing recurrences of issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert escalation services for complex technical, functional, and operational issues.
- Provide in-depth knowledge of CRIMS systems, coupled with advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Handle sensitive issues related to customer satisfaction and reputation.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering to provide feedback on significant operational and support issues.
- Package issues and associated information for efficient escalation.
- Act as the entry point for new product introductions and provide feedback on deployment and operations issues.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the Financial/Software Services industry, preferably in financial market information systems.
- At least 5 years of experience on the Charles River application.
- Proven ability to partner with various internal departments to deliver superior customer service.
- Established successful Client Management and Support record of accomplishment.
- Front, Middle, and Back Office knowledge across equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to face client C-Level management.
- Understanding of multi-tier technical architectures and relational database structures.
- Familiarity with SQL, FIX, Crystal Reports, messaging, and web services.
- Exposure to structured programming languages.
- Excellent customer service skills, technical troubleshooting skills, and interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from a university or college in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
