To guide and assist a group of students and be the designated point of contact for them in all aspects of their studies and other related areas in James Cook University, both administrative and non-administrative matters.
Work closely with departments that have an impact on the students' life during his/her course of studies:
Finance and Purchasing
Learning Centre
Admissions
Academic Services & Progressions
Student Recruitment
Estate Management
Information, Communication and Technology
Attendance Management
Ensure short turnaround time on required coordination for seamless delivery.
Liaise with external agencies as relevant.
Receive and process student payments.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & RELEVANT EXPERIENCES
A bachelor degree or diploma with at least two (2) years of sales and customer service related working experience.
Proven sales/customer service track record.
Good organisational, problem solving, and administrative skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities and meet deadlines.
High level of accuracy / eye for detail.
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and work productively as part of a team.
Demonstrated ability to be flexible, responsive, and work in a changing environment while maintaining a positive and professional approach to work.
Proficiency in Mandarin to engage with English language learners from China.
