Job Title:
Storage System Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Storage System Engineer to join our team. As a Storage System Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing storage systems for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement storage solutions that meet business needs and objectives.
2. Ensure high availability and performance of storage systems.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues in a timely manner.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other IT systems.
5. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the field of storage systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical skills: Hitachi storage architecture, Hitachi midrange and enterprise storage (AMS, HUS, VSP & Gx00 etc), Storage replication, snapshot, shadow image and remote replication sync and async, Hitachi Global Active Device, Hitachi tools such as HCS, HTnM, HDLM etc, Brocade switch and fabric (zoning, ISL, trunking, fabric merging etc), Basic knowledge of VMware, OS(AIX/Windows/Linux), Basic scripting knowledge.
  • Knowledge of storage performance tuning and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with incident management and change management process.
  • Strong analytical skill, very initiative, good planning & systematic execution.
