Job Overview

  • The system administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining storage systems, including design, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Key responsibilities include performance tuning, replication, snapshot, shadow image, remote replication sync and async, as well as knowledge of Brocade switch and fabric.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of storage architecture, midrange and enterprise storage, and experience with tools such as HCS, HTnM, HDLM.
  • A basic knowledge of VMware, OS (AIX/Windows/Linux), scripting, and incident management is also required.
  • The role involves project handling from sizing to rollout, with preference given to candidates with project management background.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical skills: storage architecture, midrange and enterprise storage, storage replication, snapshot, shadow image, remote replication sync and async, Hitachi Global Active Device, Hitachi tools such as HCS, HTnM, HDLM, Brocade switch and fabric, basic knowledge of VMware, OS (AIX/Windows/Linux), scripting, storage performance tuning and troubleshooting.
  • Project handling experience from sizing to roll-out, preferably with project management background.
  • Strong analytical skill, very initiative, good planning & systematic execution.
