Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Storage Specialist to join our team. This role will involve designing, implementing, and managing storage systems to meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Storage Architecture: Design and implement storage architectures that meet client requirements
  • Hitachi Storage Management: Manage Hitachi storage systems, including AMS, HUS, VSP, and Gx00
  • Replication and Backup: Implement replication, snapshot, shadow image, and remote replication sync and async
  • Hitachi Tools: Use HCS, HTnM, HDLM, and other Hitachi tools to manage storage systems
  • Network Infrastructure: Manage Brocade switches and fabrics, including zoning, ISL, trunking, and fabric merging
  • Virtualization: Have basic knowledge of VMware and operating systems (AIX/Windows/Linux)
  • Scripting: Have basic scripting knowledge
  • Performance Tuning: Tune storage performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Incident Management: Manage incidents and changes according to established processes
  • Project Management: Handle projects from sizing to rollout, with experience in project management preferred
Requirements
  • Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot storage issues
  • Trunking: Knowledge of trunking technology
  • Change Management: Understanding of change management processes
  • VMware: Basic knowledge of VMware
  • Rollout: Experience with rollout processes
  • Scripting: Basic scripting skills
  • Zoning: Knowledge of zoning technology
  • Replication: Understanding of replication concepts
  • Project Management: Experience in project management
  • Performance Tuning: Ability to tune storage performance
  • Incident Management: Understanding of incident management processes
