We are looking for an experienced Junior Regional Relationship Manager with high energy and client relationships. Responsibilities Support the Senior RRM in the delivery of relevant banking services to Chinese Corporate clients to meet the department's regional revenue targets. Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and understand their needs in order to provide a consistent and high quality of service Collaborate with other members of the department to ensure that profit targets are achieved as a whole Work in partnership with Compliance to consult on compliance issues, including but not limited to Know Your Customer and Sanctions Work in partnership with Credit on any credit issues associated with the deal Work in partnership with Operations and Customer Service to ensure smooth processing of transactions Ensure all deadlines are met and responses are within an acceptable timely manner Prepare tailored presentation pitches to support deal proposals Negotiate with customers on matters including but not limited to contract terms and conditions and pricing, as well as seek commercial solutions to finalise the deal Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations The Junior Regional Relationship Manager will manage the relationship of the Chinese corporate subsidiaries and Chinese clients across Asia (excl Japan). Therefore, the candidate must have a strong written and verbal command of Mandarin to successfully manage and build these relationships. Requirements Degree qualified Minimum 8 years of experience as a relationship manager within the Global Subsidiaries Banking space, regionally. Sales experience onshoring and offshoring China Corporate clients. Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other departments. Strong understanding of local finance laws and regulations across APAC In-depth knowledge of corporate banking products and services Ability to write and speak in Mandarin and English in order to effectively perform the responsibilities of the role.
