**Your background**
- At least 7 years of relevant experience, preferably related to risk management within an international financial institution.
- Good understanding of Global Market products and financial market infrastructure. Prior experience in risk managing central clearing counterparties will be valuable.
- Ability to independently conduct risk assessment of corporates and financial institutions with special focus in credit analysis and corporate governance.
- Quantitative orientation in academics and comfortable with derivatives and structured transactions.
- Good organization skills and ability to articulate and present risk issues both verbally and in writing.
- Have a positive orientation and the ability to work in a fast paced/multi-tasking environment under pressure.
- Good academic record commensurate with an undergraduate and/or a postgraduate degree from recognized institutions.
**What you can expect**

Responsible for the analysis and monitoring of issuer/counterparty risks taken within a specific product area. The GMR Manager will primarily interface with the trading desk and other risk and support groups (i.e. Compliance, Finance, Operations, etc.). People in this job code will report to the GMR Senior Manager. Incumbents typically have over seven years of experience in issuer/counterparty credit risk management. Ability to independently assess the credit profile and analyze financial position of corporate and financial institutions. Familiar with Global Market products, especially derivatives

**What you will do**:

- Risk Management and governance of central clearing counterparty relationships, including new onboarding, changes in membership or products, or other risk management and control issues related to clearing activities.
- Conduct annual holistic due diligence review and qualification assessment of central clearing counterparty relationships for APAC.
- Coordinate regular forums and lead discussions related to regional clearing activities.
- Participate in new product / transaction approval forums with a view to highlight risk and approve deals from the counterparty credit risks’ perspectives.
- Participate in equity commitment committees to review and approve equity underwriting activities in the region.
- Keep abreast of the ongoing industry developments and regulatory changes, and contribute to the evolving risk management needs in the central clearing counterparty, counterparty credit risks and equity capital markets space.
