As an MD Pathologist specializing in Hematology within the Diagnostics field, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting hematological samples to assist in diagnosing and managing blood-related disorders. Your responsibilities will include analyzing various hematological specimens such as peripheral blood smears, bone marrow aspirates/biopsies, and conducting tests like CBC, ESR, reticulocyte count, coagulation profiles, D-dimer, and hemoglobin electrophoresis. It will be your duty to diagnose conditions such as anemia, leukemias, lymphomas, clotting disorders, and to supervise the results obtained from automated hematology analyzers. Your expertise will be essential in correlating laboratory findings with clinical data to offer valuable diagnostic insights and provide accurate hematopathology reports in a timely manner.Collaboration with clinicians, hematologists, and laboratory staff will be a key aspect of your role to ensure comprehensive patient care. You will need to maintain high standards of quality control, participate in external quality assurance programs, and adhere to documentation requirements in line with NABL or CAP standards. Your educational background should include an MD in Pathology from a recognized institution with specialized training or interest in hematology. Experience with automated hematology platforms like Sysmex or Beckman Coulter will be advantageous, along with strong analytical, diagnostic, and communication skills necessary for clinician interaction and report writing. Familiarity with lab quality protocols and medical record systems is also essential for this position.This is a full-time, permanent position that offers benefits such as health insurance and paid sick time. The work schedule involves day shifts, fixed shifts, and morning shifts with the work location being in person.,
