Medical Expert in Precision Medicine Leadership

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Molecular Pathologist Consultant to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of precision medicine in our region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise molecular laboratory operations, including test reporting and new test development.
- Work with the department's HOD and Head of Lab Sciences to advance laboratory operations.
- Enhance departmental diagnostic capabilities through innovation and strategic initiatives.
- Drive quality assurance and ensure adherence to accreditation standards.
- Clinician with clinical and operational exposure in a clinical lab environment is preferred.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Possess a basic degree from a recognized medical school or postgraduate qualification (MBBS/MD) registrable with relevant authorities.
- Completed training and post-graduate qualifications (RCPath/FRCPA/Molecular Genetic Pathology certification by American Board of Pathology or equivalent) recognized by relevant authorities.
- Pre-existing experience (preferably 5+ years) working in a clinical laboratory.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge in area of specialty (e.g. relevant experience in molecular genetics) and expertise in managing complex medical problems and complications.
- Able to work independently with demonstrated competence in managing patients, teaching, and research in a multi-discipline environment.
- Confident, takes initiative, and a good team player.
