Work as a Molecular Pathologist Consultant, leading and supervising molecular laboratory operations.
Job Description:- Manage and supervise molecular laboratory operations, ensuring quality assurance and adherence to accreditation standards.
- Develop and implement new test strategies, driving innovation and enhancing diagnostic capabilities.
- Collaborate with the department's HOD and Head of Lab Sciences to advance laboratory operations and improve clinical outcomes.
- Possess a basic degree from a recognized medical school or Postgraduate (MBBS/MD) which is registrable with the relevant authorities.
- Completed post-graduate qualifications in Molecular Genetic Pathology certification by American Board of Pathology or equivalent.
- Pre-existing experience (preferably 5+ years) working in a clinical laboratory, with expertise in managing complex medical problems and complications.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge in area of specialty, able to work independently and manage patients, teaching and research in a multi-discipline environment.
- Contribute to shaping the future of precision medicine, advancing genomic testing for a wide range of specialties.
- Play a pivotal role in developing a comprehensive precision medicine service, establishing our institution as a regional centre for advanced genomic testing.
- Able to take initiatives, confident and a good team player.
