Hematology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled MD Pathologist to join our team in the Diagnostics field. The successful candidate will specialize in Hematology and play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting hematological samples to assist in diagnosing and managing blood-related disorders.
The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, diagnostic, and communication skills necessary for clinician interaction and report writing. Experience with automated hematology platforms like Sysmex or Beckman Coulter is advantageous.
Responsibilities:- Analyze various hematological specimens such as peripheral blood smears, bone marrow aspirates/biopsies, and conduct tests like CBC, ESR, reticulocyte count, coagulation profiles, D-dimer, and hemoglobin electrophoresis.
- Diagnose conditions such as anemia, leukemias, lymphomas, clotting disorders, and supervise the results obtained from automated hematology analyzers.
- Correlate laboratory findings with clinical data to offer valuable diagnostic insights and provide accurate hematopathology reports in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with clinicians, hematologists, and laboratory staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- MD in Pathology from a recognized institution with specialized training or interest in hematology.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and communication skills.
- Experience with lab quality protocols and medical record systems.
This is a full-time, permanent position that offers benefits such as health insurance and paid sick time. The work schedule involves day shifts, fixed shifts, and morning shifts.
