Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Strategic Project Director to lead our construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The Strategic Project Director will have a proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and sustainability. They will be responsible for developing and implementing project strategies, managing project teams, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals. They will also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks, and make informed decisions that drive project success.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Building / Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • At least 15 years' experience in a similar capacity in the construction industry
  • Extensive experience in building projects anticipated in Green Mark Platinum, PBU, PPVC, MET, or any DfMA projects
  • Good knowledge in various contract forms, e.g. SIA, REDAS, PSSCOC, etc., and local statutory codes with authority submission / application procedures
  • Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a 'can-do' attitude
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong business acumen with strong analytical skills
  • An awareness of sustainability initiatives in construction
