Job Title: Director of Strategic Projects

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Strategic Projects to lead our projects from initiation to closure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic project plans, ensuring timely completion and within budget constraints.
  • Manage project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and team members, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress and performance metrics, identifying and mitigating potential risks and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with project management software, such as Asana, Trello, or MS Project.
  • Knowledge of construction safety protocols and regulations, including OSHA guidelines.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working 5.5 days a week. The successful candidate will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
