Job Title

Operations Site Lead - Data Center

  • To be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, managing and controlling all plant, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • To coordinate remedial action with our Engineering Team in the event of business-critical failures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage site operations including hiring, motivation, development, training, and discipline of site operation technicians and maintenance teams.
  • Monitor KPIs and uptime requirements.
  • Support site reviews including maintenance standards, equipment replacement, security, change control, Tier adherence, and operational risk.
  • Ensure delivery of planned and reactive activities utilizing CMMS within operating targets.
  • Perform tasks as required by the Operations Manager.
  • Support advice and consultation on facilities engineering matters.
  • Responsibility for site repair and maintenance carried out by subcontractors to ensure work completion quality and method compliance with specification and ordinance requirements.
  • Monitor measure and report upon performance of contractors in terms of ability to carry out work against contractual budget.
  • Lead support meetings regularly with contractors vendors and suppliers to establish and maintain standards and develop corrective action plans when or if performance falls below expectations.
  • Support daily cadence monthly operation meeting and quarterly business review with stakeholders.
  • Ensure maintenance documentation meets required standards and sufficient information is provided to operate effective asset management regiment.
  • Assist the client with statutory compliance requirements certifications for the site.
  • Ensure asset information is maintained and changes updated within the CMMS.
  • Ensure site operations incident management and escalation are performed in accordance with approved procedures.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with data center operations.
  • Leadership experience preferably in a data center environment.
  • Ability to analyze problems identify causes and implement solutions.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
