Documentation and Compliance : Handling necessary shipping documentation, customs declarations, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and company policies.
Operational Efficiency : Streamlining processes to reduce turnaround times and optimize costs associated with port and cargo operations.
Team Supervision : Leading a team of ship agents and operations staff, providing training, and ensuring high service standards.
Requirements:
In-depth understanding of maritime regulations and port operations
Proven experience in business development, especially within the Singapore market
Background in general cargo operations, stevedoring, or discharging port processes
Strong relationships with suppliers related to general cargo, such as truck cranes, floating cranes, and barges
Familiarity with bunkering services
Demonstrated leadership experience
