Lead Transformation of Corporate Lending

We are seeking an experienced leader to shape and deliver the future-state corporate lending landscape. This pivotal role will encompass bilateral, syndicated, and structured lending, as well as trade finance.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of domain expertise in corporate lending, hands-on experience with FIS ACBS, and program coordination capabilities, ensuring business requirements are effectively translated into system solutions aligned with the transformation roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the corporate lending functional stream within the transformation program, focusing on ACBS implementation.
  • Define and design target-state processes across the corporate lending lifecycle.
  • Ensure process designs align with risk, regulatory, and business objectives.
  • Translate corporate banking requirements into functional ACBS configurations and specifications.
  • Perform gap analysis between current-state processes and ACBS capabilities.
  • Collaborate with vendors, IT, and integration teams to validate solutions and manage dependencies with surrounding systems (e.g., GL, risk, reporting, digital channels).
  • Serve as the functional workstream lead, coordinating across business, IT, and vendor teams.
  • Track workstream deliverables, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Support program governance through regular updates, risk/issue management, and preparation of decision papers for steering committees.
  • Align with parallel streams (data, migration, integration, testing) to ensure cohesive delivery.
  • Partner with stakeholders across corporate banking, risk, compliance, operations, and finance to align on requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops and decision forums to capture business needs and resolve cross-functional issues.
  • Act as the trusted SME for ACBS and corporate lending transformation.
  • Define and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for corporate lending functionalities in ACBS.
  • Support data migration planning, reconciliation, and validation for lending portfolios.
  • Lead cutover activities and ensure smooth post-go-live stabilization.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Corporate Banking within the Financial Services industry, with a focus on lending and syndicated loans.
  • Hands-on experience with FIS ACBS (configuration, functional design, implementation, or support).
  • At least 3 years of experience in core banking/lending transformation programs, including system implementation and migration.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate lending products and familiarity with credit approval processes, covenant monitoring, and collateral management.
  • Demonstrated experience in program/project coordination, ideally within multi-vendor and multi-country transformation environments.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior business and technology leaders.
