Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing first-level technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring that all desktop systems are running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support End-user devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, IP phones, and video conferencing equipment;
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft Operating Systems and products;
  • Provide first-level support for business applications such as Bloomberg and internal trading applications;
  • Morning checks of applications and infrastructure systems;
  • Ad-hoc troubleshooting and support for user queries;
  • On-boarding of new joiners and termination of leavers access rights and release assets;
  • Software and hardware inventory management;
  • Collaborate with global IT teams on project implementations, tasks such as testing, upgrade, migration, and movement.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems and products;
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Bloomberg and Microsoft Office certifications preferred;
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software inventory management.
