Job Title:
Project Cost Controller
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Project Cost Controller to join our team. As a key member of our cost management department, you will be responsible for evaluating tenders, preparing tender submissions and Bills of Quantity, establishing databases for costs, materials and supply sources, and calculating construction costs based on project drawings and documents.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate tenders and prepare tender submissions and Bills of Quantity
  • Establish databases for costs, materials and supply sources
  • Calculate the cost of construction for projects based on project drawings and documents
  • Assist in the assessment of contractual claims, work progress and other related issues
  • Invite sub-contractors to submit quotations and evaluate them accordingly
  • Prepare project budgets, reports and cost estimations
  • Monitor budgets and track direct costs on projects
  • Resolve outstanding claim issues on Final Accounts and Variation Orders
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in quantity surveying and excellent analytical and communication skills. You should also be able to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities.
