About This Role:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Cost Manager to join our team. As a key member of the project management team, you will be responsible for providing cost management services across all stages of a construction project.
Key Responsibilities:- To develop and implement cost plans, estimates, and budgets for projects.
- To conduct site inspections and identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- To negotiate with contractors and suppliers to achieve best value for money.
- To manage and maintain accurate records of project costs and financial performance.
- To analyze data and provide insights to inform business decisions.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in quantity surveying or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
