Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Quantity Surveyor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering cost management support across construction activities, ensuring alignment with budget objectives and compliance with contractual terms.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare tender and contract documentation in line with local construction regulations.
  • Allocate work packages to contractors and subcontractors to support efficient project progress.
  • Monitor project costs, ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
  • Conduct cost analysis and develop cost-saving strategies to optimize project value.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates and manage adjustments in collaboration with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Support contract negotiations and manage variations or claims as they arise.
  • Maintain scope, standards, and specifications throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Offer commercial advice on contractual claims and cost implications to the project team.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to manage overall cost performance and ensure timely project completion.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the construction or building industry.
  • Strong understanding of building contracts and cost management principles.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with local construction laws and regulations.
