About You Having led global, cross-cultural teams, you will have experience in metals or bulk commodity marketing roles and/or with strategy/long-term planning for commodity operations. You will be confident in working in a complex and ever-changing external landscape, where you will draw on your ability to solve problems that deliver outcomes that positively impact an organisation today and in the future. Your ability to understand and apply technical concepts will be important, especially in the context of mining, flotation, and smelting and refining. A deep commercial mindset will be advantageous, as will your ability to think strategically across multiple dimensions. Good understanding of risk management principles will be important, including the ability to design and test strategic scenarios. With world-class communication, negotiating and influencing skills, you will be at ease in building a wide array of internal and external relationships. You are an inclusive and inquisitive leader, whose teams achieve outstanding outcomes solving large, complex issues. Additionally, you have a good track record in building capability and mentoring teams, along with having previously led diverse teams that span across various time zones and cultures. A tertiary qualification is required (e.g. Engineering, Economics, Commerce) and a post graduate qualification will be well regarded.
