As an E-Commerce Marketplace Manager, you will define and enable the marketplace strategy to deliver NPP AOA growth ambition and total ecommerce business. Through a collaborative approach, the EC Marketplace Manager will also support, educate, and guide the relevant markets and stakeholders to actualize the ePetshops strategy and increase our online market share on marketplaces. The objective is to drive awareness, trial, and online sales growth across key ePetshops customers.
A day in the life of an E-Commerce Marketplace Manager:
Define and drive the overall ePetshop sales and marketing strategy for NPP AOA brands in light of the competition, trends, and complexity of the category and country.
Define the online ePetshop go-to-market and category growth strategy, collaborating across markets and stakeholders including the creation of JBP frameworks and ways-of-working with ePetshops and marketplaces.
Provide online category insights & strategy to drive recruitment.
Align with the holistic eCommerce strategy and category development and define deployed locally.
Translate the category management strategy into growth initiatives, including joint business plan frameworks with ePetshops.
Develop ePetshops mapping and dashboard to track performance and identify potential new partners.
Support markets to establish an ePetshops classification based on specific and relevant criteria.
Support markets to execute a solid mapping of marketplace ePetshops (prospective and current) and collect updated data to follow market trends.
Establish regional relationships with platform 3P Marketplace teams to accelerate ePetshops sales growth.
Support in managing the relationship between internal stakeholders.
Support in managing/onboarding the relationship with distributors, 3PL, local customers (omnichannel, pure players, etc.), marketplaces, agencies, customer care team, etc.
Work together with the ASEAN eCommerce Leads to align ePetshops sales and marketing strategy.
Ensure accountability for the consistency of our brand online execution with key partners and alignment with overall eCommerce strategy.
Lead eContent strategy and deliverables, working closely with the regional Content Manager to develop and disseminate eContent to the markets to ensure brand imagery consistency.
What makes you successful?
Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field.
More than 5 years' experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, merchandising, etc.
Strong understanding of e-commerce / digital platforms.
Experience in working with online marketplaces such as Lazada, Shopee, etc.
Experience in building & managing online business for direct store (.com) as well as shop-in-shop in marketplaces or strongly preferred.
Deep understanding and management of all e-Commerce metrics.
Expertise in both strategy & plan development, as well as execution of demand generation, merchandising, and marketing programs to drive online business growth.
Hands-on knowledge of best practices in lead generation and a proven track record of delivering qualified traffic from both an acquisition and conversion standpoint.
Strong Leadership, Teamwork, and Cross-Functional collaboration capability.
