This role evaluates and optimizes material management processes across the network, ensuring compliance and efficiency. Acting as a cross-functional leader, the position maintains control strategies, develops best practices, and authors global guidance in collaboration with manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Procurement teams. It is critical for future-proofing material management and driving consistent standards globally. Access to our full list of global benefits: What You Will Do Serve as global SME for raw and single-use materials, defining specifications, control strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Provide technical expertise on material impact to process performance and product quality; support manufacturing, investigations, and improvement projects. Lead second sourcing evaluations and assess alternative materials for quality, compliance, and testing/release requirements. Author and manage global change controls for material specifications; collaborate with sites to implement changes with minimal operational impact. Partner with Procurement, Quality, and technical teams to align supplier/material selection with global strategy and governance. Develop strategies and processes for introducing new materials, harmonizing global standards with local procedures; maintain tools and reporting for material management. Prepare technical documentation, risk assessments, and regulatory responses; support audits/inspections and deliver global training on material-related topics. What We Are Looking For Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences/Engineering/Chemistry or other relevant discipline 15+ years of Materials Science experience (e.g. QC, QA, MSAT)Tech
