Description
Global E-Commerce's Governance and Experience (GNE) is a global team responsible for ensuring a safe and trustworthy marketplace for not only our buyers, but also our sellers and creators. Moderation Team is part of the GNE organization. Our mission is to create the most trustworthy E-commerce platform with a delightful service experience. Moderation team is looking for a Model Labeling Project Manager role to manage BPO partners to ensure efficient and high-quality data labeling to enable successful AI model training and strategy implementation.
Role & Responsibilities
Oversee model labeling requests from Algorithm and Policy teams, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery aligned with model training requirements.
Monitor BPO agent and QA performance, focusing on accuracy, utilization, and efficiency to achieve operational targets.
Generate and distribute detailed data reports for specific markets to maintain transparency across internal and external teams.
Identify and address risks through data analysis, presenting actionable insights and recommendations for process and product improvement.
Collaborate with global resource management teams to oversee BPO performance, ensuring adherence to compliance protocols and company policies.
Review SOPs for each labeling task to standardize processes and set clear expectations.
Conduct regular and ad hoc training sessions for BPO partners on SOPs to ensure complete understanding and accurate data labeling.
Organize calibration sessions to maintain alignment and quality standards between internal and external stakeholders.
Present findings and updates to stakeholders, driving solutions to enhance moderation model capabilities.
Guide and mentor new joiners to ensure they meet ramp-up targets efficiently.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
  • 2+ years in BPO management experience within Monetization/E-commerce/Trust & Safety operations.
  • Strong project management, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret data to drive decisions and identify risks or opportunities.
  • Experience drafting and refining SOPs to standardize processes and ensure team alignment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in model labeling for AI or machine learning.
  • Advanced project management experience, ideally in e-commerce or fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to generate reports and insights.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong training and calibration experience.
