Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Business Development Specialist based in Singapore to drive new business opportunities across Asia. This role is pivotal in expanding Deaglo’s client base, targeting banks, fintechs, and multinational corporations by promoting Deaglo’s revolutionary FX hedging sales platform. With a background in technology sales, you will leverage your expertise to engage high-level executives, secure meetings, and build relationships that showcase the value of Deaglo’s innovative technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with banks, fintechs, and multinational corporations across Asia.
Leverage your knowledge of technology sales to qualify leads and connect with high-level executives, building a strong pipeline of potential clients for Deaglo's currency risk management solutions.
Relationship Building and Client Engagement:
Engage and build relationships with decision-makers, articulating how Deaglo’s proprietary technology and consultative approach can address their unique currency risk management needs.
Schedule and conduct meetings with senior executives, effectively communicating Deaglo’s value proposition.
Solution Selling:
Develop and deliver compelling presentations tailored to prospective clients, emphasizing Deaglo's technology-driven approach to currency risk management.
Understand client challenges in FX exposure and related areas, positioning Deaglo’s solutions as strategic enablers for data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency.
The ability to penetrate large financial institutions and create champions within, expanding existing key account relationships into 7 figure annual contracts.
Market and Competitor Analysis:
Stay up-to-date on trends in capital markets, fintech developments, and currency risk management to identify opportunities, new products and refine sales strategies.
Conduct research on client needs and competitor activities to maintain Deaglo’s competitive edge.
Sales and Performance Tracking:
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to track engagement, report on pipeline progress, and optimize business development efforts.
Set and achieve ambitious targets for client acquisition, revenue growth, and meeting scheduling.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in business development or technology sales, preferably within FX, fintech, financial services, or capital markets.
Skills and Expertise:
Strong understanding of technology-driven solutions; knowledge of currency risk management or capital markets a plus.
Proven track record in business development, lead generation, and client engagement.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to connect with senior-level executives.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with experience managing a pipeline and meeting targets.
