As a senior professional in the role of GM / VP Business Development, you will be leading the global business development efforts for our pharmaceutical formulations division. Your primary focus will be on driving growth through out-licensing and establishing CDMO/CMO partnerships in regulated markets such as the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.Your responsibilities will include identifying market opportunities, managing product portfolios, negotiating strategic deals, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success and profitability. This role requires you to identify and close out licensing and CDMO/CMO deals, develop market-specific product strategies, conduct competitive analyses, manage commercial proposals and contract negotiations, as well as coordinate with R&D, regulatory, and project teams for timely execution.Furthermore, you will be engaging with CROs, GLP labs, regulatory partners, and other external stakeholders, representing the company in international industry events and conferences, and tracking market trends to identify growth opportunities, including potential mergers and acquisitions and in-licensing opportunities.The ideal candidate for this position holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Life Sciences (mandatory), with an MBA being preferred. You should have a minimum of 20 years of experience, including at least 10 years in business development within regulated markets. A strong background in formulation exports, licensing, CDMO/CMO, and regulatory affairs is essential. Additionally, excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills are required, along with a commercial acumen and a strong analytical and financial orientation. You should also demonstrate the ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams effectively.Please note that international travel is a mandatory aspect of this role, as you will be required to represent the company globally in various industry events and conferences.,
