**Job Summary**:
- The VP, General Management of the CEO role supports the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and directly engages with the Sr. Leadership team. Operates with a high level of autonomy and makes quick decisions and takes action when responding to asks from the CEO. Identifies and eliminates obstacles before they become a problem. This role manages through managers to collate information across multiple complex business groups to tell one cohesive CEO narrative, ensuring alignment with business strategy. It is viewed by clients as a trusted advisor and partner. Pro-actively develops relevant ideas for new/improved communications, processes, procedures and/or programs. This role drives adoption of best practices and champions process improvement and cost efficiency initiatives. Manages confidential special projects directly for the CEO and must be an early adopter and champion of all change management initiatives. Partners closely with Finance, HR, Communications, and other support functions to meet the needs of the CEO. Provides advice and counsel to executive and senior leadership on a broad range of issues critical to the function/business.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Drives and supports CEO executive leadership in creation and execution of a multi-year business area strategy that meets the requirements of the business and drives improvements to key performance indicators.
- Manages the agenda and cadences of all CEO leadership team meetings, including coordination of board materials. Responsible for ensuring all action items are delivered upon by partnering with the leadership team and their business managers.
- Overall responsibility for leading and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of business planning and management practices by identifying and planning the execution of best practices.
- Collaborates with the executive team to determine and prioritize business strategies
- Identifies and resolves highly unique/complex, sensitive, and/or high priority issues across function(s), involving a diverse range of internal, and often external, sources of information.
- Oversees strategic business initiatives from ideation to implementation
- Identifies and helps solve core problems or opportunities within business processes
- Provides Chief Executive Officer and other senior leaders with insight and analysis on the company’s operations
- Assesses risk when business decisions are made
- Provides support and oversight for special projects and initiatives
- In partnership with VP Communications, outlines the communication strategy for the assigned area(s) to ensure consistency in messaging. Cascades key strategic messages to the business area and embed appropriately into business area communication to ensure understanding and engagement.

**Additional Responsibilities**:
**Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree Degree in Business in marketing, finance, science or technical or equivalent experience required and
- Master's Degree In Engineering, Science or Business preferred
**Work Experience**:
- Minimum 15 years Experience in business, operations, sales, marketing, and/or finance required and
- International experience / assignments preferred and
- Access (direct preferred) to CEO and the Board preferred and
**Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
