Main Responsibilities

  • Carry out meaningful activity engagement as prescribed by registered therapists to enhance the well-being of residents.
  • Organize and conduct activities, outings in the community, art and music programs, and special events for the benefit of residents.
  • Prepare the activity area and equipment required for these activities.
  • Transport residents to designated areas for physical activities and social events.
  • Conduct general body conditioning exercises to promote physical fitness among residents.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident attendance at rehabilitation sessions.
  • Manage inventory of activity equipment to ensure availability and proper usage.
  • Support nursing teams in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Assist residents with their nutritional needs during afternoon tea breaks.
  • Clean and disinfect activity equipment to prevent infection and maintain a healthy environment.
  • Adhere to established infection control guidelines and protocols at all times.
  • Participate in company-sponsored events as required.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to department work and undertake additional responsibilities as directed by the Allied Health Manager.

Qualification Requirements

  • GCE 'N' or 'O' Levels.
  • NITEC in Community Care & Social Services.
  • Certificate in Healthcare Support (Therapy Support).
