Job Title: Senior Activity Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Activity Coordinator to join our team. As a Senior Activity Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating a safe and inclusive environment that promotes social participation and healthy well-being among seniors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create engaging activity sessions that cater to seniors' needs and interests
  • Foster partnerships with community organizations to enhance services for seniors
  • Provide excellent follow-up service and meet tight deadlines
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with data protection regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals
  • Ensure accurate registration and screening of seniors in our database and tools
  • Coordinate events and activities at the centre, involving vendors or volunteers as needed
  • Oversee senior attendance and engagement, including outreach and programme delivery
  • Work closely with colleagues to develop strategies that meet performance targets
  • Prepare and submit accurate reports
  • Liaise with funding agencies to support programme development
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma in a related field or equivalent experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in social services, preferably with seniors
  • Passion for working with seniors in care centres and community settings
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic technical skills
  • Ability to communicate in local dialects is an asset
  • Willingness to work weekends, if required
